My research

I am a conservation ecologist with interests in socio-economics and environmental policy.  I have been studying the mechanisms to balance the continued expansion of the diving tourism industry with the conservation of coral reefs. To conduct such an investigation I have used an interdisciplinary approach where ecological, socio-economic and management aspects have been considered. I am also interested in the exploration of adaptation and mitigation strategies of human populations to climate change impacts.
